It was saddening today to read of the passing of Jack. Like a lot of us, I knew him from tennis. He was a great player. Still remember the only time I played him in a tournament. He was probably in his early 50s. Like a lot of others over the years, he took me apart that day. The last time I saw him on the courts, he was in his ninties playing with his weekday group down at McKinley. Even though spotting at least 20 years to everyone of them, he still had the smoothest and best strokes...

In all the years I knew your dad I didn't know he played the trumpet. Your dad touched many lives. We are all better for it.
