Not sure what to say?

John was a beautiful human being, wise, compassionate, great sense of humor, master of tact and kind hearted to his employees who will forever remain loyal. A true gift and treasure to have known him. Brenda Testa

I just learned of the passing of John Moye. I worked with John on many occasions in association with the United Bank. I will never forget his tremendous wit and charm. My condolences to his family, and to all who had the privilege of knowing him and mourn his loss. He was truly a noble spirit.

My heartfelt condolences. I practiced with John at Moye White. But we first knew one another when I was John's research assistant at D.U. Law in 1974-75 and provided research to help him write the second edition of his hornbook on Federal Jurisdiction. Respect for all he accomplished. So sorry for your (and our) loss.

I started to work in 1983 as a part-time messenger at Head Moye Carver & Ray, one of the first iterations of Moye White. I was as green as they come, never having worked in an office before, let alone a law firm. I think that it was my first week at the firm when John Moye gave me his ticket to a political luncheon at one of the major Downtown Denver hotels. I was way under-dressed for the occasion but broke-bread with some of, what were likely, key Denver businessmen and women. After...

Though I never knew him socially, and sadly our exchanges were few, every time I saw John he made me feel like we were old friends who shared a common bond. Clearly a man of decency and good humor, I am saddened to hear of his passing.

I first met John through his daughter Kelly as we were classmates at CU. When I moved to Denver for Grad School in Urban Planning, John was Chairman of The Denver Urban Renewal Authority and was a mentor assisting me concerning my Thesis Direct Foreign Investment in Downtown Denver. A true asset to Denver, he will be missed. A great influence in my personal life.

I first met John when buying his home in Breckenridge. Then he led the Stapleton Development Corp. that hired me. John gave me pro bono advice on numerous civic adventures. He gave me the names of places to eat in Italy when our family vacationed there. His willingness to provide support for whatever we did was greatly appreciated. He was always available and we saw each other often at Rocky games. Sadly no more. Condolences to the family

John was a a remarkable man - intelligent, funny, wise and compassionate. He cared deeply for the City, leaving a legacy of projects, innovative solutions and civic leadership. I was fortunate to know him and will miss his warmth and optimism.

I´m very sorry for John´s family and firm for this enormous loss. My heart is broken as I will truly miss this very dear man. He was a very dear friend, inspiration, fellow lover of everything Italian, and the most generous soul I have ever known. I will keep his joy for life in my heart, and will never forget the many valuable lessons I learned from John.
