Not sure what to say?

Hello those who knew John Creighton Murray. I was just reading a letter he sent me in July, 2001. I had no idea he had passed. He was a wonderful violinist, who performed at our Guenoc vineyards and winery years ago. Would write more if there were room. Condolences and warm memories. Karen

A wonderful man, a keen wit, a generous soul, and, well, he knew his way around a fiddle. Sadly missed.

I met John 10 years ago where he played his violin at the Drumm St. BART S.F. station for the public's pleasure. He played from the heart and I will miss him.

It was a privilege to know you and to hear you play. Amazing artist and genuinely funny and good guy.
RIP John.

Slan leat a cara....... and thanks for all the beautiful music and great stories.

I'm so sad to hear the news that John has died. I only met him a few times, but will always remember him as a warm and friendly man and as an exquisite violinist. May you rest in peace, dear John.

Dearest John...Thank you for your friendship and music...It was an honor to paint your portrait while you played your violin for me...You will always be in my heart...Diane Levy
