Hello those who knew John Creighton Murray. I was just reading a letter he sent me in July, 2001. I had no idea he had passed. He was a wonderful violinist, who performed at our Guenoc vineyards and winery years ago. Would write more if there were room. Condolences and warm memories. Karen

A wonderful man, a keen wit, a generous soul, and, well, he knew his way around a fiddle. Sadly missed.

I met John 10 years ago where he played his violin at the Drumm St. BART S.F. station for the public's pleasure. He played from the heart and I will miss him.

I'm so sad to hear the news that John has died. I only met him a few times, but will always remember him as a warm and friendly man and as an exquisite violinist. May you rest in peace, dear John.
