Not sure what to say?

Dear Hilda and family
I am so sorry to hear about John's death. He was a great teacher, and talented in so many things. My thoughts and prayers are with you

Love Kay Morrison (Marilyn)

I fondly remember being a student in John Neff's English class at UA in the early 60's. He was indeed a terrific teacher. My sincere condolences to his loving family.

Dear Hilda and Family,

I'm sorry hear about John. I enjoyed being in his class. If I
knew earlier I would have been at
the church.

Our prayers are with you and John and family.

John will be missed.

Dear
Hilda,
I am so sorry, I missed the notice of John's death in the paper. I would have been at the church. Buck sent the notice to our class and I read it today. I hope you are alright. As you know, you have been
in my thoughts and I am interested in getting together. Please call
when you are able. You have my number. The John we all knew and loved will be missed.

Hilda,
I was saddened to hear of John's death. I can still remember his teaching English at UAHS in the early 60s and of course when he and I took a church group to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. I will miss him. He always made it a point of saying hello in church to his many friends. I'm sorry to have missed the memorial service. Our prayers are with you and John and family.

Hilda, Carol, Mark and Mary:

I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. I have many great memories of him, from Hilltop Church to summer jobs painting swimming pools and working the book fair at the High School. He helped teach me that Christianity can be culturally subversive and intellectually challenging!

He and all of you are in my prayers and thoughts.

Mark

Hilda,
John brought great enthusiasm to all his diverse activities, be it singing, catering, gardening, encouraging others. He was a man for all seasons and will be greatly missed.
