hi, it's me flight I'm in fourth grade now wish you could see me pop pop why did you have to leave so early everyone loved you I had great memories with you like you going to my baseball games and me in your car always trying to get your phone to watch shorts on YouTube because my dad wouldn't let me. hope your time in heaven is great I will always remember you LOVE FLIGHT.

A great person in high school. Absolutely a wonderful Drum Major for our band at MacArthur High School. Prayers for his family. Rest in Peace!

Besides musical aptitude and good looks, John was an amazing father and doting grandfather. John was a man with integrity and always made me feel welcome when I came into his home. Our children and our grand children have played together in the past making this a long time friendship of both John and Marian. John and Ivan Nicodemus and I worked together summers during college for the Texas Highway Department elevating I-35E over downtown Dallas. One weekend we brought John´s go-kart to the blocked-off freshly paved freeway and had a ball. One football game when John couldn´t be there, I was picked to replace him as drum major, since I was the only other person in the band who was as tall as he was so I was the only one the uniform fit!
