I first met John Nyce when I was nine years old and he was the Pack Leader for Cub Scout Pack 7 at Germantown Boys' Club. Mr. Nyce later worked with Mr. Charles A. I am very sorry to hear about your dad. I did not know him personally but I have heard a lot about him.I know the Boys Club was thriving when I went there in early 70's. Your dad took over the club in the tougher years when the neighborhood changed and after the fire. Your Dad did the tough work and kept the club viable during the difficult years. Dear Bill and Jane,

Indeed I am so sorry to hear about Jane's father. I know how she feels but Norm and I are sole survivors of our families. It is so traumatic and final. I will say starting with my little sister, there is not a day of my life that they are not with me constantly. It's never the same, but the closeness is always there and they are never forgotten. God bless you both and Jane's dear father.
