Not sure what to say?

Hello

I lost a great friend and will certainly miss him. I always enjoyed his humor and knowledge of Anderson County history and its people. This is certainly a sad time...so much lost.

I have so many cherished memories and am so blessed God chose to place him in my journey in life. This man was such a true servant and left us all with such an example to live by. I told him a long time ago he should write a book to capture all those stories, but no one could tell them like he did. I will certainly miss those priceless moments.

Kathy, Tim and Wanda, Bruce and I are so sorry for your loss, of your precious dad and husband. John Allen was a great man that left a true legacy. I pray that you can find peace in the midst of your sadness. I pray for your sweet momma too! God gave you guys great parents . You were blessed! Hold on tight to the memories, until you meet again!

Our thoughts and prayers are with the John Allen's family at this time.

John's legacy is present in those that knew him. I am honored to have called him my friend. I will miss seeing him sitting towards the back pews or running into him in the hallways at First Baptist. I pray for peace and understanding for the family.

I am so sorry for your loss. May God heal your pain and let you know, in your heart, John is at peace. Love and prayers to each of you.

To me john was someone who believed in me and encouraged me I think it was the summer of 1976 when I was welcomed as an a real estate agent to work with john as well as Glenn and Harold Richey Since this was new to me my self confidence in my ability was limited. John helped me by providing encouragement when I needed it. Although I moved on after year or two this was a chapter in my life that I value. I am pleased to say I considered john as a friend and we were always glad to see each...
