My condolences to Mr. Polyniak's family. You probably do not remember me. I was Bernadete Higgins's neice. Many a day I walked past your home, to my aunt's. John and Cleo would be working in the yard, or sitting on the side of the house- always friendly-even to a little kid like me.

Later, I knew Suzanne when she worked in the ER at Harbor.I work in the pharmacy. I know you all were dedicated to both your parents. I will be praying for you all in the days ahead for comfort...

sorry to hear of Mr Polyniaks passing- I met him and some of your family at the American veterans center conference in November in DC when he spoke.my condolences to you and your family, he served his country honorably as a 29th divsion veteran and a D-Day veteran. So sorry for your loss. I recall many years ago how you expressed how much you loved him and how proud of him you were. The good side of all of this is that you had the time you had with him and he was not taken years ago. Enjoy the memories and take from it to become a better man yourself.

You and your family are in my prayers. You can choose to celebrate his life, as opposed to mourning your loss. The celebration is always a happier road.

John was one of the greatest people I have ever known. Period.
