Uncle John,

you are the man and always will be. I shared many great times with you helping out my father with his house in the 1970's. You always had a great one liner to break the ice in any conversation.

You were a great father, uncle, brother, and friend. You will be sorely missed.

John J. Reid Sr. was my uncle through marrige to my mother's oldest sister. Though there is no blood relation, I love him as much as any member of my my immediate family. My Uncle John was like a second dad to me. His strength, determination, and work ethic continue to inspire me to be great.
