John was truly a nice individual. I had the pleasure of working with John at Confluence Academies. He was so passionate about making the world a better place and providing more opportunities for city students. I can recall many conversations with John where he would be so on-fire for his cause that I would see his extreme emotion and know how deep his feelings were. I will miss his smile and his kindness.

John was a wonderful man dedicated to helping schools. He was a great asset to SLUH fundraising.
