John P. Scully

Sad to hear of John's passing. Great memories from Northwest Catholic and Providence College. I'll remember the ever present smile. RIP John.

I met John during our our freshman year at Northwest Catholic High School where we played intramural basketball. You never saw John without a smile on his face and something funny to say. He was the type of person that you felt comfortable with right from the beginning because of his honesty and friendly nature. The world is a little darker with your passing, rest in peace.

On behalf of President/Chief Administrator David Eustis and the entire Northwest Catholic High School community, I offer my deepest sympathy on the passing of John P. Scully. As a graduate of the Class of 1973 and brother of Sr. Theresina Scully, C.P. '66, John will be remembered in our community's prayers. We are very sorry for your loss.

John was my dear friend since the first day of our freshman year at Northwest Catholic High School. Up to as recently as this month, he would call me to say "hello" and open the conversation with his favorite salutation to me.."Hello, you turkey you!" One of my closest friends from St. Brigid, to Northwest Catholic, to Providence College. Many fond memories of playing pool with John and his Dad after school. Also great memories of weekends with John and Pat at the lake house and bowling at Connecticut General.

John, you were a good friend. It was great to see you at the Fernwood last month after all those years. I'm sad
your time was cut short. Rest in peace and keep everyone in heaven laughing.
