I met John at Aurora Country Club in 1979, he was the Sous Chef. I worked the Broiler. We had met again at Hollywood Casino in Aurora in 1986 Fairbanks Steakhouse. We became close friends and eventually lived together. After learning his medical issues, I basically took care of him and the home when he had to undergo surgeries at University of Chicago and Rush Hospital.
