Shefchik, John Francis, R.Ph. Entered into Eternal Life on January 4, 2012, at the age of 85 years. Beloved husband and best friend for over 63 years of Nina "Kelly" Shefchik. Beloved father of John R. (Pamela), William (Eileen Chase), Thomas, Anne Bartelt and Joan (Dennis) Rizzi. Loving Grandpa of John M. (Angela Amundson) Shefchik, Amy (Scott) Streff, Megan Bartelt and Jack (Rachel Everson) Bartelt. John practiced as a pharmacist for 50 years and was the owner of Jackson Park Pharmacy for 25 years from 1969-1995. He graduated from Creighton University and Marquette University High School. He and his wife Kelly were active volunteers at the Irish Cultural and Heritage Center of Wisconsin and members of the Shamrock Club of Wisconsin. He earned his Eagle Scout rank in 1946 and served honorably in the U.S. Army from 1945-1947. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the chapel at Clement Manor (3939 S. 92nd St., in Greenfield) on Saturday, January 7, at 11AM with a visitation in the chapel from 9:30AM until time of Mass.
