Oh, John. You were a great teacher and mentor. You encouraged and gave me opportunities to learn so much about pharmacy life. We enjoyed swapping recipes! I never had Spam until you introduced it to me. So many ways to make Spam. You were a gentle soul and I will pray for you and miss you. You truly new all your patients and took excellent care of them. That is something we miss today and some will grow up never knowing what a vital part a trusted pharmacist plays in healthcare. The little mints you put in the prescriptions for the sisters was adorable. They loved it and complained if we missed one. Your zest for life was infectious. You could turn my bad day around with an anacdote and a smile. May God bless and keep you. Love, Pam

TO Uncle John, Aunt Pam, Amy (scott) John Michael (Angela) and the rest of the Shefchik family,
When I first heard the news about Grandpa Shefchik, I biked to a beautiful place and thought about him a lot. I could almost feel his presence as he was released from his body becoming particles of pure joy and love manifesting in anyone who knew or loved him.
Thank you for being there with him constantly in his last week, and the constant love you show. He could not have asked for a more kind and loving family, and neither could I.
Let us celebrate the life of an incredible man who had a huge impact on so many lives.
With so much love

Dear Kelly, Tom and I want to express our sympathy to you and the family. You and John provided us with a wonderful example of what a loving family should be like. Our days with the special friends from CFM are forever considered a blessing. We learned so much and made the best friends. That friendship was special to us even though we did't have the opportunity to see each other very often during the past years. But during our visits, that special bond was always renewed.

We are in Florida for the winter months but are with you in spirit during the coming days.

Love, Tom and Nancy Wentland
