Not sure what to say?

Jack you were truly one in a million. You will be missed by all who knew you.

So sorry to hear of your loss. Thoughts and prayers to everyone

So sorry to hear of your loss. The Shingle/McGinn Families are in our prayers.

To have known Jack was to love him! One of a kind. We were fortunate to have 3 boys play CYO football at St Lawrence under Jack. Many a night I watched practice and saw how Jack coached the kids. He could yell and correct a kid for his mistake and immediately follow his yelling with his signature big smile. The kids loved him. On a trip home from a gam3e in Lancaster County I rode with Jack, Jack L and Nick C, and I never laughed so long and hard in my life. A trip I'll never...

Heartfelt sympathies to the Shingle family. We mourn with you. We worked with Jack for a number of years providing the wonderful children of Upper Darby an opportunity to play sports. Jack blocked, we ran. It was a pleasure and a privilege. He will be remembered always.

With Sympathy,

Jim and Maria Duffy

Extremely sorry for your loss.

Thoughts and prayers to the Shingle family.

Jack was always willing to be a guest speaker when I was teaching American Government at Upper Darby High School.
The students loved his colorful stories about Upper Darby football and his experiences in Upper Darby government.

Coach, thanks for teaching me the right way to play football. You would scream if a kid tackled with his head down! I remember one day we ran every play wrong with our ------ white cleats. You kicked the ball so far i think it is still going. Band aids on helmets if you got the wind knocked out of you. I miss those days and hope kids today have as much fun as we did with you, Jack L, and Nick C.
RIP.
