Not sure what to say?

In the last 5 years there have been so many changes and events for which I would have typically called Dad to share news and to hear his wonderful "that's so great to hear" response. I carry with me his positive outlook and steady demeanor. I only hope to become a similar role model for my kids and grandkids.

Sorry being late but just came upon this .John was a Friend of mine at Xavier. Such a very positive fun loving guy sorry for passing ..God takes them when he needs great people ,John was one of those.he will be in my prayers ..

To my Dad, I will miss you everyday and will always remember how great it felt to hold your hand. What a wonderful father you were.

Linda & family,

I am so very sorry for the loss of your wonderful, loving husband & father. It truly was my pleasure & honor to be one of John's nurses. He is forever in my heart & I will never forget him or all of you & the love that surrounded him. He fought hard for the past 30 years & never gave up. He will always be remembered as one of our favorite patients on 7 South!! We love you John. We love you Linda & family. You are in our thoughts & prayers. May you rest in...

Mr. Silvati was always a pleasure to care for at the Christ Hospital. He was always so courteous, positive and never stopped smiling, even in his most painful moments. He has touched every staff member on 7 South and will always be held close to our hearts! Many prayers for the Silvati family.

Linda and children,
Please accept our heartfelt sympathy and prayers. John was a gracious and bright star in our universe. While in his presents, he always warmed and enlightened our hearts.
