John Douglas Simpson

My father who was an intellectual property lawyer admitted to the USPTO and the Illinois Bar was a long time law partner and contemporary to Mr. Simpson. They both were at the firm 43 years. As a teenager I worked part time as a youth (along with his son Doug Simpson) at the Hill Simpson law firm, well before I became a lawyer. Mr. Simpson was very kind, patient, and was encouraging. Very sorry to learn of Mr. Simpon's passing. Those of us who worked with him will always carry with us the lessons we learned and cherish his guidance. Many prayers to his family.
