Not sure what to say?

Sorry to hear about Jack's passing. A wonderful and funny guy on the golf course that will be missed. A quick wit. Always enjoyable to play with and against at HGC. Best Wishes.

Ahhhhh the life of Jack Solan! We loved his quick witted humor and comfort! He had a way of expressing himself with humor and storytelling! He loved family (we were blessed by him in our lives) and friends. He called during my mom´s death journey to truly express his care and concern. Yes, Jack had a heart!! Thanks for the laughter Mark- we enjoyed reading every word of this obituary! Many thoughts and prayers for you Mark and Tracy- we don´t know what happens at the time of death, but I´m...

Hi Tracy and Mark, Your dad is chuckling reading this absolutely fantastic obituary. Bravo in maintaining Jack's humorous ways in this excellent obit! Jack was such a huge force, and significant presence in so many lives, including mine. I am thankful I knew him, what a life he has lived. Cheers to you Jack, please shine on us from above, thank you for being my friend. Love, Aimee Had

Jack and I worked and played together for many years. Jack frequently asked for my advice and then did what he wanted anyway. I will always remember Jack's request for Kettle One when ordering his afternoon cocktail at The Hartford Golf Club.

I am saddened to learn of Jack's passing. I had the pleasure of working with him at EY in Hartford and we remained friends after his retirement. He had a strong presence, great sense of humor and was always a gentleman. My condolences to his family.

RIP Jack!
