Not sure what to say?

Dear Lou Ann: I am deeply saddened to hear the tragic passing of John, with whom I had worked at Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department. I send you all my strength and love to endure this tragedy.

Lou Ann, I'm so sorry for your loss. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

My condolences to his family and friends. Have a fondness for any Steinauer and anyone from the village. Blessings to all. Rosie Gottula Cuka

I talked to him after the mass at his dad's funeral. I had been recovering from a stroke and pneumonia. He commented on how poorly I looked and said that maybe I should not have come!! It then hit me I was sicker than I realized!!==Contacted him by phone during his early jobs post-military in NE and IA.==I am sure he did not imagine given his officer status & MOS, he might have been putting his life at risk in Iraq.==Condolences to Lu Ann and his children who did not expect his sudden loss...

Lou Ann sorry for your loss! Miss our banquets! Mary Jo Obrist Campbell

It has taken a good part of the day to process the news. I send warm wishes to all of his family. John and I were in Southeast band and I count myself lucky to have been part of his circle of friends. We lost track of each other after UNL but I have fond memories of time spent in his company.

Lou Ann and family, I am so sorry. I did not know your son, but you raised him to be a wonderful son. My sympathy.

So Sorry for you Loss

Lou Ann, I just saw this obituary. I had no idea and I am very sorry for your loss. Many prayers for you and the whole family and especially for your dear son John. Mary Jo
