Read MoreBrother Stocking was our beloved, dedicated home teacher in the 1st Ward. Even though ward boundaries changed multiple times, he was still our home teacher at heart, with a smile and sincere interest in "where are the kids now" when we met. We loved that man and his dear wife.

We have had many good neighbors in our lives but John Stocking was the best. He was always grateful when we stopped by or shoveled snow off his driveway. We will miss his sweet smile and one line quotes.
