Not sure what to say?

My husband and I met in our 20s but we shared one fond memory of childhood. We both were patients of Dr. Summers through the 1970s. He was a wonderful doc, was so funny and I looked forward to every visit as a kid., He is still being spoken about which is what moved me to leave these words. You were loved!!!!

Dr. Summers was my older sons Dr.,that was 57 years ago. I just loved him. I am so sorry for your loss

To all of Dr Summers family and friends- we are sorry for your loss. We will always remember Dr Summers in our hearts fondly as he was a truly special man who took great care of all of us.

Thoughts and prayers to the Summers' family. He was my ped from birth until his retirement. A true advocate for children and their needs.

Dr. Summers took out my tonsils when I was in kindergarten. In the operating room, he had me blow into a balloon, and said he'd give me one of his model airplanes if I could pop it. I remember blowing into it one time, and then I was knocked out by the anesthesia. I swear I heard it pop while I was asleep. (maybe he popped it ?) He was sweet.
God Bless you, Dr. Summers.

Dr. Summers was a great man. I started seeing him at his Hampton Village office when I was 7 and never connected the dots as to why there so many model airplanes on the seeing of the office waiting room, which I loved. Now I get it! He was always there when my Mom and Dad needed him for the four of us. One of kind....I still think of him often 50 years later and will never forget him.
