My family always had the utmost respect for John and Steinie. We send our deepest sympathy to you in this time of sorrow.

Patti, John and Families:
I am so sorry for your loss. Losing your mom gave you SOME preparation for the loss of your dad. Losing a parent is hard to explain unless you've gone through it. To Patty, Amy and their families and many close friends. Although we had met your father on a few occasions, he always seemed like a very friendly and social gentleman whenever we were around him. with our sincerest condolences. Bob and Dolly Johnson

My Uncle was more than an ordianry uncle. I never saw nor knew my paternal grandfather. Uncle John was that grandfatherly for me and I couldn't have loved him anymore if he had been my actual grandfather. He was the most caring, loving and GIVING person that anyone could have had the blessing to have known. I have so many fond memories of gathering at Uncle John and Aunt Steinie's home. There was always so much to eat and many, many hugs and kisses to go around! I feel so fortunate to have...

Patty, John Jr. and family. I am deeply saddened by the news of John Sr's passing.
From the time I met John in the late 50's I knew he had something special. I would always enjoy his input on issues, philosophy and business. He and Steini faced life hear on… Family tragedy, building a business and always willing to help others. “What we have once enjoyed, we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes part of us”-Hellen Keller
