Not sure what to say?

Clair...I was so sorry to hear of your father's passing from my father...you're in my thoughts and prayers.

Growing up in Athens, I was a year older than "Sweet John." We were Y boys together under Cobern Kelley & Pop Pearson. He was a wonderful boy who grew into a fine man. I always enjoyed visiting with him when we ran into each other.

I had the pleasure of working with John for many years at Greene Buckley Jones & McQueen. He was kind, true and considerate. He was always a delight to work with and most of all I LOVED his stories of fly fishing. I will keep you and yours in my prayers. In deepest sympathy, Nanette M Horrocks

Dear Margaret, Don and I are saddened to learn of John's demise. May your children and many years of blessed memories sustain you. Love, Jeannine and Don Morrison

john was one of thenices persons i've ever known

Thinking of you and your family--Elizabeth

I had the great pleasure of working with John for the past few years here at Hawkins Parnell Thackston & Young. I knew him to be a kind, considerate man who never walked by my desk without a cheerful greeting and warm smile. He was a good soul and he will be very much missed around the office. My thoughts and prayers go with his family.

My deepest sympathy for you loss. May God be with you in this time of grief.

To Margaret and your lovely family. As sure as the sun came up on this beautiful fall day, I know that John is with the Lord, happy, healthy and at peace. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. I pray that warm memories will sustain you through this difficult time. John was a special man and a great blessing to our church and we shall all miss him very much! I am here for you, we are all here for you.
