Mr. Taylor was one of the most amazing people I've ever known. For nearly two decades, he revealed the riches of the World War II collections to me, and even steered clients to me, when he thought I was the best person to assist them. Together with Robert Wolfe, former chief of Captured German Records, they literally tutored me in the arcana of newly declassified documents as well as ones long open but little used. Always a gracious luncheon companion, Mr. Taylor -- I never could call him...
