Not sure what to say?

Just over 12 years after his passing, I learned that Dr. Thompson passed. I met him when I was in undergraduate at the University of Oklahoma and he was a Master’s candidate living in the same dorm. He was much more committed than I to scholastic pursuits. He was gracious, cultured and an endearing presence. The fact that I have not been in his presence in 41 years is in no way indicative of my lack of respect. It was an era where contact was harder to maintain due to the cost of...

Dr. Thompson was truly an inspiration to all of us during our time at OC.
There are no words to ease your hurt right now but please remember. The pain you are feeling is a symbol of love.
Rather than letting the hurt in your heart be a sign of your loss, let it be an eternal reminder of everything you have gained from sharing in...

Like others, I knew John Henry in high school and loved him very much. He was an inspiration and everyone knew he was a Christian. I am proud to have been his friend.

John was a good friend in high school. I met him the first day of our freshman year. All I can say is that God blessed us all with John Henry's being in our lives. Though I have not seen him since high school, I have though of him often. I weep along with all others that knew him, because we have lost someone that was special in our lives.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of grief. Carol and I want to let you know how much we loved and respected brother John. We felt honored and happy to have him as a brother in Christ at Wilshire. He was an inspiration to us both and always managed to put smiles on our faces. Carol and I will miss him. God Bless You All

I knew John Henry in high school. He was a good friend then and well respected by all. I have the greatest admiration for all that he accomplished in his life. I am sorry for your loss.

I remember John Henry from Chickasha High School. He was 3 grades ahead of me and, tho I did not know him well, I knew he was a truly delightful person. I am not surprised he grew into such a successful person and scholar as he was always "one of the nicest people" you'd know. My prayers are with you at his loss.
