Not sure what to say?

SO many memories, I don't know where to start...John feeding me green dog biscuits when I was little(I think just so he could eat them too!), watching Dumbo more times then I can count, when I made him mad because I told him he had ears like Dumbo(c'mon how can you be mad at an 8yr old for saying that, haha), when I was honored to be his and Patty's flower girl at their wedding, and of course John threatening to show a video of me when I was 5 and a pain in the butt at my wedding to keep me...

It was with great sorrow that I heard of the passing of John Van Meter. Heartfelt prayers and thoughts of the Bieliunas family, go out to his family and friends. The City of Philadelphia lost a good father and firefighter. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him, but our memories of him will keep him alive in our hearts.

On behalf of the Housekeeping Department ...........Pat .We would like to extend our sympathy and wishes to you and your family during this time of your lost....

Pat....Greg and I send our sincere prayers and codolences during this time of Johns passing....We will always admire how the two of you complimented one another and how much you like to share stories of all the wonderful times you were blessed to have with one another....

Patricia and the entire Van Meter family:
I am very sorry for your loss. I worked with John many years ago at Engine 57 and he was a very kind hearted man and will be missed dearly.

John Quinn

We miss you John. I'll always remember sitting in your house, watching Dumbo 10,000 times, listening to you sing, "When I See an Elephant Fly". I still know every word to the movie. You let me name your dog, so our dogs were Lady & Tramp, another Disney connection!
Thanks for all the memories. I wish I had a chance to tell you how big of an impact you've had on my life.

Hey Big John, say hello to Buffalo Bob Boylan and Jimbo McDevitt. You guys are still remembered at E.57, still the Battleship of the West.

Dad,
I will miss you dearly and thank you for memories I will never forget. Give John a big hug when you met him again and I look forward to seeing you all again when my time comes. May God bless you and keep you close to him.

Daddy,
You can't imagine how much I miss you. I'm glad that you are in heaven now, but you'll always be missed.
Love,
Jackie
