SO many memories, I don't know where to start...John feeding me green dog biscuits when I was little(I think just so he could eat them too!), watching Dumbo more times then I can count, when I made him mad because I told him he had ears like Dumbo(c'mon how can you be mad at an 8yr old for saying that, haha), when I was honored to be his and Patty's flower girl at their wedding, and of course John threatening to show a video of me when I was 5 and a pain in the butt at my wedding to keep me in line. 16 yrs later I still haven't seen this so-called video. I'm not so sure if it exists or if that was a scare tactic, but if it does, I'll be sure to watch it on my wedding day for ya John. I love ya and I'll miss you...Patty stay strong and remember we are never more then a phone call away.

It was with great sorrow that I heard of the passing of John Van Meter. Heartfelt prayers and thoughts of the Bieliunas family, go out to his family and friends. The City of Philadelphia lost a good father and firefighter. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him, but our memories of him will keep him alive in our hearts.

We miss you John. I'll always remember sitting in your house, watching Dumbo 10,000 times, listening to you sing, "When I See an Elephant Fly". I still know every word to the movie. You let me name your dog, so our dogs were Lady & Tramp, another Disney connection!

Thanks for all the memories. I wish I had a chance to tell you how big of an impact you've had on my life.

John,

I will never forget that Pink Cadillac ,the future Yellow Canary.

We had so much fun with Ernie, Tweety, Joe Di John and Johhny Reyer.

You are with your Johnny now and I know that you are at peace. Life wasn't always easy for you John but you just kept on going.

I will miss you always.

Kathy
