Not sure what to say?

I remember John Virgo as a kind and soft spoken human being which belied his immense knowledge of economics and consummate professionalism. His overall vision of bringing together scholars with varied perspectives from different parts of the world is exemplified in today´s IAES. We miss and remember him on the anniversary of his passing.

Dear Katherine,
As someone lucky enough to have known John's professionalism, kindness and support especially at an early-career stage, I offer my deep sympathies on his premature passing.
Eleanor Doyle, Cork, IRELAND.

Dear Kathy -

I am very sorry to hear of your loss and send you my sincere condolences.

With deepest sympathy,

- Bruce

Dear Kathy,

It is my prayer that God will hold you in His loving arms as He has promised. He will carry you through this time of separation from your loving husband. May you receive God's comfort and peace as you lean on Him. Every tear you shed, God holds them: "You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book." - Psalm 56:8. I am praying for you.

Dear Kathy,
We were very saddened to receive an information that your Husband and our Friend and Collegue had passed. I always remember His friendly environment that He surrounded the Polish groups. He also was very sad and prayed after my husband's death. He also helped me with organising my scolarship in the U.S.A. We will miss Him during the AES conferences and always remember His activities. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Dear Kathy and all of John's family,

It is with much sadness I have with the news of John's passing. He was an extraordinary man, professional, and mentor. I have always thought the world of John and feel a tremendous loss. He did more than I could have ever thanked him for in helping me with my career. He was very, very special to me and I will greatly miss him, as will all who knew and were touched by him.
