Not sure what to say?

It is very difficult to loose someone you have shared so many years of your life with. You still say "let me ask John/Dad" then quickly realize that he´s not there to provide an answer. But he is there in your heart and with you always to talk to and share thoughts and ideas with. Remember that. Now you do to have to wait for him to come home, he is always home with each of you. Love, the Voss Family.

John has been a great mentor to me during and after my internship in his team. I always appreciated his positiveness and smart jokes. He will be missed. Rest in peace, John.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. John V as I always call him is a humble loving and caring person. He always brings sparks of laughter whenever he comes to dallas. Am going to miss you buddy. But I know you are in a better place.RIP John V

I´m so sorry to hear of John´s passing. We were neighbors and in carpool for St Clement for many years. I wish your family well. I just came down with a sore throat so I will miss tomorrow. God bless the Voda family.

Karen, Bridget, Caitlin, Megan and family - my deepest condolences to you for the loss of John. I hope that your memorial service this weekend brings you some warmth and feelings of being loved when you see how many lives were touched by your husband/father. I will be thinking of you each as you stay strong to get through the difficult days ahead. Your request for donations to the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis inspired me not only to donate in memory of John, but also to sign...

Oh, memories of John!! Block Party Captain, neighbor parties, talking after Mass, always smiling and joking. His and my younger children grew up together. Watching John dancing around in the rain or the very warm weather with his 3 beautiful, little girls! He loved his family and his faith. An angel in heaven for sure. Watching over Karen and the girls. Our deepest sympathy for Karen, Megan, Bridget and Caitlin. We were blessed to call John our friend.

John and I first met 10 years ago when he and I worked on some AT&T research projects. We connected right away due to his dry sense of humor and our shared Catholic faith. We kept in touch over the years and also connected at the Zechariah Prayer Breakfasts. I was so glad I got to go to lunch with him last December. We had a great time and despite his illness, John's sense of humor was on full display. We took this picture after lunch. John is greatly missed, and I'm so sorry for Karen and...
