Father Wagner was our parish priest. He married my husband and I. Baptized our first child and helped my mother and my family through a difficult time when my father passed away suddenly. He was a very compasinate man. He served many well. Rest In Peace.

Lidia and I started to know Father Wagner when he officiated our
marriage at St. Joseph's (downtown San Antonio) in 1977. Father Wagner was the Hernández family priest for 50 years and
when I married Lidia Hernández in 1977 he officiated.
