To Johns family, I am sorry I missed his visitation. I did not know he had passed til all was done. I just now read it in the paper and knew I needed to tell you all he will be missed. He was a great fan of Winnebago basketball and was at many of my daughters games. I loved hearing him when I was cheerleader...I use to try to make him be quiet!!!!! Spending time on the Weerda farm growing up with Jeff and Penny is one of my best childhood memories! Jeff has been one of my best friends since Kindergarten and Penny like a big sister. I am so sorry that I missed the visitation and a chance to express my condolences in person. I simply did not know about John's passing away until today as my folks are out of town. Sorry to here about John he was a very nice man I knew him from when my sister had the cafe in town he came in every day and sat around the farmers table and drank coffee and tell stories he will be missed by all the people who knew him R.I.P John you are in good hands .
