John D. Wells IV

John will be sorely missed by many members of The Mackenzie Boat Club. John was a member in fine standing since our first formal meetings were held some 40 years ago. I always referred to John as The Elder Statesman. When a level head and demeanor were needed , John never failed to deliver. Very sad to learn of John's passing. We worked together at Lacey Manufacturing and I was always impressed by his engineering knowledge, dry humor and his easy going mild personality. He was a pleasure to work with especially in stressful times. May John rest in peace.
