John will be sorely missed by many members of The Mackenzie Boat Club. John was a member in fine standing since our first formal meetings were held some 40 years ago.
I always referred to John as The Elder Statesman. When a level head and demeanor were needed , John never failed to deliver. The club was blessed to have him as a member and officer and without him our club would never have reached as far and wide as it did.
John ,God bless and Godspeed. Thank you for enriching our lives and for all you contributed.

Very sad to learn of John's passing. We worked together at Lacey Manufacturing and I was always impressed by his engineering knowledge, dry humor and his easy going mild personality. He was a pleasure to work with especially in stressful times. May John rest in peace.
