Barbara and Family
Although much time has passed, our memories of time spent with Wines family is still vivid and treasured. Our love and prayers go out to all of you as you grieve, yet celebrate, the life of John, a very special man.

Dear Barbara, Kathy, Dave, Eric, Shannon and Kids-- What a profound life lost here but gained in Our Lord's presence. Painful separation, yet temporal. I will be praying for each and every one of you.

I never called him John even when I saw him last. I was 40 something and he was still Mr. Wines to...

He was a wonderful teacher and mentor to a lot of students, including myself. He will be sorely missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife and family.

I feel blessed to have known Mr. Wines as both a student and a parishioner. Truly, he was a man of character and integrity. His genuine interest and concern for others was a testament of his devotion to God.
