Oh, John. You will be greatly missed. I am grateful for the few years we were able to work together at Keep Atlanta Beautiful. It didn´t take long for me to know that I was in the presence of a beautiful soul who just wanted to love and support your neighbors. I am so sorry to hear this. Now I understand why he has been on my mind the last couple of days. We were not close friends. But, I valued him as a neighbor and for all he did for the community. And, we shared a birth day. Not the year, but the day.

So sorry to hear of John's passing. Had talked with him last week but knew that he was in hospice care. We had been friends since November of 1966. He was a groomsman in our wedding in 1969. Sue and I will surely miss his friendship
