Not sure what to say?

My condolences to all the family. I had the pleasure on knowing John at PSU as an Army ROTC cadet with him, class of 1959 as well. John was our Army ROTC Cadet Colonel as the ranking Cadet of the Brigage. I was a cadet LTC Bn cmdr under him. Even then we cadets were in awe of his excetional military bearing and expertise and knew he would go far in a military career. Our class was exceptional ROTC cadets and many of us likewise had great military careers. I too served in Vietnam with the 1st...

Dear Betta and family - I was saddened to hear about the passing of your dear husband, John. He was a wonderful man and I have great memories of our time together at Ft. Bliss. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Sincerely, Sherry Crosbie

Yeosock Family,

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of General Yeosock. He was a great boss and I have good memories of our times in the 3rd Armored Cav in El Paso.

Mrs Yeosock,
Dot and I (CSM Ed Smith, Retired) are sadden to hear of the passing of Gen Yeosock. I will always cherish the memory of having served as his Command Sergeant Major, as he commanded Third Army (USARCENT), that included operation Desert Storm and Desert Shield. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and family. Ed and Dorothy Smith

Dear Mrs. Yeosock,
I am so sorry for your loss, I remember "Col. John" as a great man and always felt secure knowing he was home when I could smell his cigar as he sat on the porch. Please give my regards and condolences to Beth and John, Mom keeps me informed about them. You and your family are in my prayers at this difficult time.

Michael,It was with deep regret that I read about your borthers passing.I have a lot of fond memories of the times I was able to spend with the Yeosock family. You and your family and loved ones will be in our prayers.God bless. Gil and Carol Gregory - Federal Way,Washingston.

It was my great pleasure -- and a highlight of my career -- to have served as part of LTG Yeosock's staff during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm. I met him again after we both had retired when he visited my work site in Saudi Arabia in 1998. I was pleased that he even remembered me -- a measure of the man.

Michael, I am so sorry to hear of your brother's passing. Jackie and I were friends from elementary school, until he left for the academy. We had wonderful talks about life. I have always cherished those years. I have thought of him many times over the years. He will be in my thoughts and prayers, always.

My deepest sympathies to the Yeosock family on the passing of Jackie. It seems like only a short time ago that we were playing football in Kunec's yard on Maffett street. Jack was a good friend, and an honorable soldier. He will be missed I'm sure.
