It's always difficult to find the appropriate words at a time like this. Uncle John was someone different to everyone but he was always himself. Whether he was down on the floor playing with the kids or quietly sitting at a family gathering ,twisting a paper match with a slight grin on his face like he knew something no one else did and he wasn't telling.
I believe ,though ,that he was most comfortable goofing with the kids, Telling 'old' stories like how he lost his hair in an Indian...
