It's always difficult to find the appropriate words at a time like this. Uncle John was someone different to everyone but he was always himself. Whether he was down on the floor playing with the kids or quietly sitting at a family gathering ,twisting a paper match with a slight grin on his face like he knew something no one else did and he wasn't telling.
I believe ,though ,that he was most comfortable goofing with the kids, Telling 'old' stories like how he lost his hair in an Indian attack.
My Heart, Love and Tears go out to Aunt Marion, Lorraine and Kirk, Joanie and Joe but mostly to his Grandchildren, who will miss him the most, even though they don't realize it now.
Uncle made a positive impact on my life, especially as a child, as he probably did on everyone who came to know him, though I'm sure he never knew it. Who else had an uncle who would offer, while admiring the 'Special'fish in the
tank in the basement,"I'll give you five bucks to stick your finger in there, just for a second" with Auntie shouting downstairs ..."JOHN"!!!...
My world will be a slightly dimmer place without him in it.
All of our Love goes out to Aunt Marion, Lorraine and Kirk, Joanie and Joe,the Grandchildren and our entire Family back Home.I wish we could be their at a time like this

I will never forget what a great Uncle you were. You made growing up so much fun. I will miss you dearly.
Until we meet again. Give my Dad a big hug for me. Love you. Susan
