John Frederick Zapp

Guided John and Bob on the Tasman Glacied while they filmed. Also at Mt. Hutt and played cello on spur as they skied past. Worked on Ruapehu at Ski Racing Camp. Great time great people I wonder if the film got made.

Enjoyed skiing with John at Mount Hutt. The photo attached was John skiing on a crazy windy day at Hutt.

John Zapp taught me to ski at Round Hill, New Zealand. I remember him as a charismatic man, who helped ignite a love of skiing and life that continues today. For an eight year oldf Kiwi, he was an impossibly glamorous figure and a great skier. To the adult me, he was just a great teacher. Vale, sir. You won't remember me but I remember you.

John our family was privileged to share wonderful times with you in our home and on the ski fields of.. New Zealand.. You are a per ante part of our memories. So good to have shared the time with you..good bye old friend ..see soon on the other Siide love you mate ..charlie parsons..

So sorry to read of your passing John, we had many fun times Ski-ing Round Hill Ski Field with brother Bob (Robert) who I would love to be in touch with.
