Not sure what to say?

When I remember Johnnie I think of his huge smile and sense of humor. We had adventures together like riding on a 47 passenger tour bus trying to get Chinese food for our wives in Orlando! They didn't believe us. It was hilarious! I miss him.

Dearest Johnnie, when I first wrote expressions at the time of your passing, the loss was raw for you were such a good friend and light in my life. I have prayed for your soul every night since we lost you. God took home one of the best. All that is left are precious memories that I will hold tight to always. With love, Patricia

To the Jarman Family:

I just learned of Coach Jarman's passing. Johnnie, as I affectionately knew him for some twnety years or more from VUU. Truly when our paths crossed years later and Johnnie had become a minister, I told him that his walk and his talk showed the new creature in him. He was truly called to the ministry.

Please know family that I mourn as you mourn. Johnnie will be sorely missed by the community and church at large and as my friend.

RIP COACH JARMAN, MY PRAYERS GO OUT TO HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS. GEORGE WYTHE CLASS OF '99

To the Jarman family: My prayers go out to you. Coach Jarman was a mentor & friend & coach. I learned alot from him. He is why I coach kids. His passing is not the end. We will see him again in glory! My love goes out to you.

Coach,Pastor, friend, mentor. You were all of those and more. As I sit here at a loss for words, I can't help but remember the last time I saw you. You were someone who instilled nothing the best in me and others and you will surely be missed. My prayers are with your family in this time of need.
Rest in peace coach. Rest in peace.

I am deeply sadden to hear of the passing of my friend and brother, Johnnie. We met in the Youth For Christ Council many years ago. He always used to make my side hurt from laughing so hard at his wonderfully winning antics which changed my life and shaped my destiny in ways not yet fully realized. I will miss his presence dearly. To the family I say be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might.
With deepest sympathy, Ronald

Sorry to hear of Coach Jarman's passing. He helped coach in '74-'75 with Coach Booker at George Wythe I believe when he was still at Elkhardt. I remember his laugh. He obviously touched many lives and will be missed.

To the family of the late Rev. Johnnie Jarman, may you forever feel God's presence and peace through our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ. Rev. Jarman was a teacher, a coach and a mentor to me. My family and I were sadden by his passing. Truly, he will be missed. I count it a priveledge and honor to have served by his side as an assistant coach for the George Wythe football team in the past. On many occassions, he gave me opportunities to teach his Bible Study on Wednesdays and to preach...
