Not sure what to say?

The world was a better place due to the life that Johnny Farmer lived. Having a beach home at Ocean city, North Topsail Beach, North Carolina, I had the opportunity to meet many people of color from all over North |Carolina and surrounding states. Johnny Farmer exemplified the best of humanity. He loved children and people. Although highly intelligent, he still had the ability to identify with the common man. I know that he is resting in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ...

Mr. Farmer and I were beach residents at Ocean City Beach, North Topsail Beach for many years. During that time I was elected President of the Ocean city Beach Homeowners Association while Mr. Farmer served as Treasurer. Mr. Famer served his position dutifully and his character was always beyond reproach. Though the organization had some financial difficulties through Mr. Farmer's expertise the organization progressed. Mr. Farmer had a demeanor about him that demanded respect from all races...

So sorry to hear about his passing. He was my principal at Athens, 1980-83. We need more like him today - he could relate to the students, was respected, but you knew he meant business.

I was sad to hear about the passing of Mr. Farmer. He was my principal at Athens Drive High School from 1987-1989. Rest in peace sir.

A good man has gotten his wings rest in peace

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

Blessings unto Brother Farmer. You will be missed.
