Family-Placed Death Notice

KOON, Johnny Johnny Lee Koon, age 53, of Conyers, passed away on March 15, 2008. Mr. Koon was employed with C&T Dry Wall Contractors. Johnny is survived by his wife, Kathy Koon; children, Tonya Bowens, Justin Koon, Daniel Koon; grandchildren: Marcus Bowens, Michael Bowens, Jr.; brother, Wayne Koon; sisters, June Crowe, Peggy Bradford, Connie Coker; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at Horis A. Ward Fairview Chapel with Dr. David Chancey and Calvin Zacharias, officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends Monday, March 17, 2008 from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2200 Lake Blvd., Atlanta, GA 30319. Horis A. Ward Fairview Chapel, 770-474-1231.

I worked with Johnny at American E-Z type for several years & he was one of the sweetest persons I have known. I know he will be missed but I am thankful his physical suffereing is at an end. God Bless him and the family.
