Not sure what to say?

What a privilege and gift it is to have been a part of John's police career. My sympathy goes out to your family in this difficult time.

Captain Ledbetter was a strong leader and an excellent example to those he supervised. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family at this time of sorrow.

I did not have the good fortune to have met Mr. Ledbetter; but feel I know him through his son, Jeff. Now, having just read his wonderful accomplishments and commitment to family, friends, his county and his country - it is no wonder at all that Jeff is as fine a person as he is. There are those that go before us that make us proud to have even heard their name. My deepest sympathy to the Ledbetter family.

We were so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.

My condolences and sympathy to the Ledbetter family.

Joyce and family,

Know that my thoughts and prayers have been with you all along your long journey.

Lynda

John was a true public servant. He loved his job and respected those with whom he worked. My condolences to the family.

My condolences and sympathy to the Ledbetter family. The passing of Captain Ledbetter is a great loss to us all. When ever I came to him with a question or problem, he always seemed to have the right answer. May he rest in peace with our Lord and Saviour.

John Ledbetter was one of the most "stand up" supervisors I ever worked with. The lessons he taught me as a young officer have stayed with me to this day. He bowed to no one and stood up for those who needed it. He will be missed. My sympathy to the family that I know he loved.
