Not sure what to say?

The earliest time that I can remember about my exposure to Dub Brown is at the service station, Brown and Brown. My dad stored some of his equipment in the lot on the East side of the service station. There would be many times that I would need to wait for my father inside the office. What a experience that was. All the local neighbors being serviced by Mr. Brown and exposure to how he carried on his business. I got to hear many local stories and sometimes asked to leave the room when it...

Dearest Doris, We just learned of Dub's passing today. We are so very sorry for your great loss. We both have so many memories of you and Dub, the gas station, and the City of Chamblee. Our love and prayers for you during this difficult time

Mister Brown,
All I can say is thanks for the memories. As an additional reward I recently found that we are 7th cousins.

Dub and Doris Brown have been a steady influence in my life since Chamblee city politics brought us together. I have never known a more together couple, a more loving couple and that legacy was passed down to their children and grandchildren ... and passed on to their friends. Dub and Doris (I can't even say one name without the other) have been like family to me, a testimony to what marriage must be like in God's eyes, and an inspiration in so many areas of my life. Dub and Doris:...

Sexton Woods Elementary and Chamblee High School... covering the city for the newspaper... planning events for the city's 75th anniversary... I have so many memories. I hope Doris and Melanie and all Dub's family and friends find comfort in his life well lived.

While you grieve it helps immeasurably to know that "God is a refuge for us." Pour out your heart to him as you grieve.

To The Brown Family
Doris and Melanie
While many years have passed, the memories remain fresh of the strong kind man who was the "Head of the Browns of Chamblee." I will always remember the warmth of weekends spent in your home and times at Lake Lanier. I think of you often and will especially be thinking of you today.

Doris and Family, You have my deepest condolences. I have many fond memories of hanging out at the lake and all the trips our families took many years ago while at Chamblee. Very sorry for your loss.

Mrs. Brown, and all the family,
I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Brown, he was always such a kind person. Glad I was able to see both of you a few weeks ago. Just know Perre and I send our deepest sympathy.
