Jon Martin Adams, Sr., 68, of Homosassa, Florida, passed away on Sun., Jan. 14, 2019 at Bayfront Health Seven Rivers in Crystal River, FL. A native of Clairfield, Tennessee, he was born July 14, 1950 to Clyde and Louise (White) Adams, one of three children. Jon served his country honorably in the United States Army and was both a professional barber and a nuclear contractor during his working life. He moved to Homosassa over 40 years ago from his native Clairfield and was of the Baptist faith. Jon is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Wanda L. Adams, Homosassa; sons Mark Adams (wife Leah) and Jon Martin "Marty" Adams, Jr. (wife Sunda), both of Homosassa; brother Carl C. Adams (wife Pearlie), Homosassa; grandchildren Mason and Madeline Adams, also of Homosassa, and a niece Kimberly Adams of California. In addition to his parents, Mr. Adams was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Edward Adams. Friends will be received on Fri., Jan. 18, 2019 from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at Wilder Funeral Home, Homosassa, Florida, where a celebration of Jon's life will commence at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Wayne Gardner officiating. Interment with U.S. Army military honors will follow at Fountains Memorial Park, Homosassa. www.wilderfuneral.com
