Not sure what to say?

The Alder Family:
Charlie was with out a doubt a truly great friend. Having moved to Hilliard in 1956 he was one of the first people to greet me. We then began to play baseball together with a bunch of great guys. We always hung out together after Saturday doubleheaders, playing ping pong in Charlie Salyer's garage, going bowling, the Jets games, etc. That was the great thing about our baseball team, the togetherness. It all culminated in a District Championship in 1962. How fitting...

Thanks for welcoming me to Hilliard back in 56 and for all the great memories through the years. You were one of the great ballplayers on our championship team in 62. Second base will always be yours. Thanks again Charlie, you will always be in my mind and heart, Dave " Snake " Schaller, Columbus,Ohio
