Read MoreVery, very sorry to hear of Jon's passing. I was Best Man at his wedding. I graduated from VMI in 1974 and Jon taught me about Ham radio and gave me my FCC license test! We had many adventures together in Grad school at UVA and at his home Loftlands Farm. He was also a groomsman at my wedding in Detroit (my home town too!) to my beloved wife Louise, who unfortunately passed away just before Jon in June 2025. Rest in peace.

Played handball with Jon for many years at the y. We were doubles partners one year. Jon was a very friendly person and very intelligent. My condolences to his family.

Jon was a good friend for many years. I played him in handball regularly at the Richmond downtown YMCA dating back to the 70's. Many times a group of us would go to 3rd Street diner after playing and enjoy rehashing the games and talking about family and friends. He will definitely be missed by all of us. My condolences to all family members.
