Not sure what to say?

Jon was a good friend, one of my best friends. The most that you can say of a person is that he was someone you could trust with your life. The outcome that night on the Toutle was in doubt until he arrived and saved the day for me.

He was a man of great strength, integrity, and honor. I will always miss him.

Cenci and Charlie, he loved you too; I know this as he told me so on several occasions. I am so sorry for your loss but hang in there--Jon would want us all to.

I first met Jon when we were both Reserve Officers with the Morton Police Department in the early '80s and Jon was working full time with the DNR. We did a fair amount of duck hunting together in the east end until he transferred to Dept. of Fisheries and I visited him a couple times so he could show me his hot hunting spots around Long Beach. After he moved back to this area, I worked with him some as a DFW Reserve Officer. Though we weren't as close in later years as we once were, I still...

Jon you were a great friend and fellow ham you always went to bat for us as needed all we had to do was ask and if possible you were available your kind heart was as big as the outdoors I will miss you my friend.
your fellow ham

I never knew you, Jon, at least not personally, but I knew you through your reputation. You were a kind friend and mentor to one of my good friends and co-workers Kyrra, and I always knew she was in safe hands when she worked with you. You did so much to support the work and mission of the Cowlitz River Hydroelectric Project, by being present to protect and uphold the law on our surrounding timberlands. You did it, not because it was your "job" but because it was in your heart to help out....

You are my best friend and the love of my life. I can't believe that you are no longer here with me. As I went through the photo albums looking for pictures for your memorial, all I could see was your smile.
Remember one day when you were driving and I asked you to swing by the mail box ? Well you did, but you just started laughing and continued up the driveway. All you were able to say through the laugh was, you asked me to swing by it, but didn't say to stop.
Those times will be...

Thank you Jon for all those memorable times from Long Beach to Randle

My condolences to Jon's family and friends. I knew Jon through my working in Morton as a legal secretary and remember his huge and friendly smile.

I'm glad you were happy and surrounded by many who loved you.
I will remember you with love and respect:

Charro, together with Jason, Brandon, Kaylee and Jayden.

I first met Jon in Kindergarten. He was one of my first friends and he always remained a friend. He will be missed. My condolences to his family.
