Dear John and Kathy, This is not the way to connect with long time friends, classmates...........it was shocking to read the announcement and at the same time thinking "this is not the correct order of depature from family and friends" My heart as a mom can feel the loss....and if Ji were here still he would ad his sympathies.......thank God for our blessing and having you family and friends to support you .......I am so sorry.......Dottie

I was on the dive with Jon in Key Largo. He stood out out immediately to me with a warm smile and appeared excited to be out on the water. As I struggled to zip my wetsuit, Jon noticed and jumped up and helped undo a snag on the zipper. I new then that I wanted to get to know this person who seemed to embrace life so strongly. I never got to follow up with him but have felt great sadness on his passing.
